Overview
Studying a column within the CaixaForum Zaragoza by Estudio Carme Pinos, it was important to demonstrate the way in which the column is conceived as a complex object and how it may ultimately relate to the building.
beginning phase
Stretching the bottom of the original column helps develop the structure provide more space.
Bending the columns and adding panels allowed enclosure and gave the structure more dimension utilizing the original column.
Finally, opening up the top and bottom made for contrast in form.
